“Eat art” è una mostra di artisti europei al di fuori dei soliti circuiti. Le loro opere, provenienti da Italia, Germania, Polonia e Belgio, si sono interrogate in modo critico e appassionato sul ruolo del cibo nell’età contemporanea. La mostra ha avuto luogo a Milano, dal 13 al 31 ottobre 2015 ed è stata allestita in due spazi: la palazzina Seicentro, in via Savona 99 e la Biblioteca comunale di via Valvassori Peroni, 56. Durante tutto il periodo della mostra, nei due spazi sono stati organizzati eventi culturali, concerti, spettacoli dal vivo, workshop, food experiences ed assaggi enogastronomici. Per gli eventi performativi sono state coinvolte scuole di musica di Milano e associazioni culturali italiane e straniere.

” Eat Art ” is an exhibition of European artists outside of the usual circuits . Their works , from Italy , Germany , Poland and Belgium , have questioned critically and passionate about the role of food in our contemporary age . The exhibition took place in Milan from 13 to 31 October, 2015 and was staged in two spaces : Palazzina Seicentro , Via Savona 99 , and the Library of Via Valvassori Peroni , 56. Throughout the period of the exhibition , in the two areas took place cultural events , concerts , live performances , workshops , food and wine tastings and food experiences . For performance events has been involved music schools of Milan and Italian and foreign cultural associations .
Chi lo ha realizzato
Equinozio, che ha ideato e organizzato l’evento, è un’associazione di promozione sociale di Milano, attiva da quasi dieci anni nel campo della creazione di eventi culturali e nella promozione di spettacoli dal vivo di musica, teatro e danza. Ha collaborato spesso con istituzioni, biblioteche comunali, teatri e associazioni italiane e straniere. L’associazione Equinozio ha ideato “Eat art” all’interno del più ampio progetto europeo “Open Hub Europe”, cofinanziato dalla Unione Europea e gestito in partnership con l’associazione tedesca Ostrale, la polacca Swiat Nadziei, la belga Netwerk
Who is the organizer
Equinozio, which has created and organizes the event EAT ART, is an association of social promotion in Milan , active for almost ten years in the creation of cultural events and promotion of live performances of music , theater and dance . It often collaborated with institutions , public libraries , theaters and Italian and foreign associations . Equinozio association has devised ” Eat Art ” within the larger European project ” Open Hub Europe ” , co-financed by the European Union and managed in partnership with the German association Ostrale , the Polish Swiat Nadziei , the Belgian Netwerk.]
